Decimal odds, sometimes called European or continental odds, are our way of displaying and working with odds. They allow easy comparison with other odds at a glance.
Decimal odds differ from fractional odds because they represent the total payout and not just the profit. It includes your original bet and your winnings together. Pairs would be quoted as 2.
Continuing with the example above, let's say the odds of a draw are 2.5 and you bet £10 and win. To calculate your winnings just multiply your bet by the odds, like this:
£10 x 2.5 = £25
Therefore, £25 is the amount you will be refunded, to calculate the profit you have made on this bet, just remove your original stake.
£25 - £10 = £15
In this case, your profit is £15 and the total payout is £25.
